Green Future Holdings Ltd is one of the leading structured Cable installers (Fiber Optic Cable) in East Africa. We are looking for skilled and competent individuals to fill the following positions:
Position of CEO:
Minimum qualifications:
Master degree with at 6 years experience in the Telecom industry (not necessarily as CEO)
High demonstrable integrity, Project Management experience HR experience, an advantage; Finance Knowledge, an advantage Knowledge of smart systems functionality, an added advantage
Engineers (4 Positions):
Education
A Degree in Civil Engineering/Telekom or related field
Experience in managing multiple projects at ago
At least 3 years experience
Scope of Work:
Conduct site staking with Cable Engineering & Contractor prior to plan implementation.
Supervise contractor during project implementation.
Conducts fiber optic cable acceptance testing using Optical Time Domain Reflectometer and Optical Power Meter Equipments.
Assist contractor in fiber optic cable splicing.
Conduct telephone copper cable acceptance testing using cable pair checker, insulation resistance tester, and transmission testing equipments.
Conducts physical acceptance on the newly installed poles, distribution panels, fiber optic cable, telephone copper cable, and telephone port cabinets.
Assistant Project Manager:
Reporting the Project manager, the ideal candidate will assist in organizing various projects in Uganda. He/She must be motivated and reliable to perform the duties associated with the position.
Education:
A degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, Project Management or related field
Must have experience working in the particular field in which the position is held.
Skills
Must know the important elements in project management, have a great sense of detail, know how to take on various duties in short time, and be able to take initiative when needed.
must be a people person who can work in groups on various projects. The individual must also have great verbal and written communication skills to interact with various people.
Responsibilities will include assisting the Project manager in coordinating project materials and research, generating schedules and reports managing minutes from meetings, and updating project information and scheduling.
Other responsibilities include organizing project files, assisting with handing specific tasks to team members, handling scheduling for project material, maintaining the client list and retaining purchase order and invoices for project materials.
