* Develop, monitor and ensure a comprehensive and cost effective risk management function encompassing a combination of loss controls and insurance (including captives) to protect company and its people against financial loss.
* Ensure claims handling activities on behalf of external and internal customers are efficient yet guard against invalid claims to ensure customers’ needs are satisfied without incurring unnecessary expense.
* Regularly update and issue cashflow forecasts to allow executive management to make strategic and tactical decisions within the parameters of available cash resources and to ensure that the group is able to meet its payment obligations.
* Manage the Group’s hedging policy for fuel, interest rates and forex exposure and availability of funds ensuring that the group is protected against unplanned for price and rate changes.
* Lead the expenditure and payment function for the Group including fuel and outstations, ensuring that creditor funding is maximised, while paying all creditors within agreed terms, only for expenditure that is valid and authorised.
* Plan and ensure compliance with Group tax policy ensuring taxes are minimised and exposure to penalties is avoided.
* Lead the financial role in due diligences performed on proposed projects and acquisitions to ensure that only appropriate projects are selected, and expectations from these are met.
* Budget and manage costs within the Corporate Finance Dept within budget to contribute to the achievement by the Group of its budgetary goals.

1. Airworthiness Inspectors: Airframe & Power Plant (A&P), AVIONICS – (10 Designees)
Scope of Engagement: The Designee Inspector will be called upon as needed to perform all or any of the following jobs: Inspection of ATOs, AMOs and AOCs; aircraft inspections; ramp inspections evaluation of manuals; development and review of procedures, manuals and checklists; set and/or mark examinations and any other related assignment.
Minimum Qualifications for A&P Designees
  • Aircraft maintenance engineers licences in Category A (Airframe) and C (Power plant) or Rotorcraft (CAT A or C).
  • Government Airworthiness Inspector’s Course – added advantage.
  • At least three type courses or three type ratings in category A and C, one of which must be on large aircraft.
  • Training in middle level management.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on, practical experience as qualified aircraft maintenance engineer with an AMO.
  • Knowledge of relevant ICAO standards and Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • Knowledge of the inspection process.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Desktop Publishing tools.

3. Flight Operations Inspectors – (10 Designees)
Scope of Engagement: Review of AOC Manuals; Certification of Air Operators; Ramp Inspections; Aircraft Type Inspection for Inclusion; Inspection of ATOS and any other related assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Commercial Pilot’s License.
  • Type Rating on at least two aircraft types above 5, 700 kgs.
  • Government Flight Operations Inspectors Course – added advantage.
  • At least 5 years flying experience (Civil).
  • Knowledge of ICAO Standards and Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • A degree in a related field such as aviation, science, engineering – added advantage.
4. Licensing and Approved Training Organizations (ATOS)
i. Chief ATO & Exams Coordinator – 1 post
This is a full-time job.
Responsibilities: Reporting to Manager Aviation Licensing, the Chief ATO & Exams Coordinator will:
  • ensure compliance with ICAO SARPs and Civil Aviation Regulations relevant to personnel licensing, examinations and Approved Training Organizations;
  • arrange flight, theoretical and practical testing for aviation personnel;
  • prepare and update personnel licensing examinations databank, prescriptions and conditions of examinations;
  • be responsible for examination management and administration;
  • train and induct examiners;
  • coordinate sourcing and training of PEL examiners;
  • inspect and audit ATOs; maintain database of ATOs and perform any other duty assigned by Manager Aviation Licensing.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Commercial Pilot’s License.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and implementing the annual audit plan;
  • continuously assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and the degree of compliance;
  • evaluating and advising on organizational risk management process;
  • identifying areas of fraud or malpractice and initiating investigations;
  • preparing periodic audit reports and recommendations;
  • undertaking follow-ups on implementation of both external and internal audit recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other social science.
  • Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Job Description: The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible to the Chief Procurement Officer to follow through the procurement processes. The scope of work includes: preparing, advertising and distributing procurement documents; maintaining and updating a register of all awarded contracts; tracking expiry dates of contracts; maintaining and safeguarding procurement documents; acting as Secretary to the Procurement Committee and facilitating the tendering process.
