Detailed Description
* Develop, improve and lead the management of group credit policy to minimise bad debts while ensuring collections targets are met, in order to contain losses and maximise cashflow.
* Develop, monitor and ensure a comprehensive and cost effective risk management function encompassing a combination of loss controls and insurance (including captives) to protect company and its people against financial loss.
* Ensure claims handling activities on behalf of external and internal customers are efficient yet guard against invalid claims to ensure customers’ needs are satisfied without incurring unnecessary expense.
* Regularly update and issue cashflow forecasts to allow executive management to make strategic and tactical decisions within the parameters of available cash resources and to ensure that the group is able to meet its payment obligations.
* Manage the Group’s hedging policy for fuel, interest rates and forex exposure and availability of funds ensuring that the group is protected against unplanned for price and rate changes.
* Lead the expenditure and payment function for the Group including fuel and outstations, ensuring that creditor funding is maximised, while paying all creditors within agreed terms, only for expenditure that is valid and authorised.
* Plan and ensure compliance with Group tax policy ensuring taxes are minimised and exposure to penalties is avoided.
* Lead the financial role in due diligences performed on proposed projects and acquisitions to ensure that only appropriate projects are selected, and expectations from these are met.
* Budget and manage costs within the Corporate Finance Dept within budget to contribute to the achievement by the Group of its budgetary goals.

- A minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience in accounting and audit, of which three (3) years should be at supervisory level.
- Working knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, and to maintain the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality of information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office suite.

3 Station Manager Mombasa -Contribute to the definition and development of Rwandair products portfolio particularly Airport services -Ensure all flights are handled in accordance with company standards and country’s laws for smooth and safe operations -Ensure cost effective service delivery within agreed scope and standards. -To ensure that staff levels and shift patterns are optimized. -To ensure a safe and secure environment in compliance with relevant legislative /industry requirement. -To ensure suitability trained/qualified/competent staffs are placed through the stations. -Routine monitoring of safety and quality critical activities within passengers and ramp operations. -Ensuring that all non-compliance reported from an evaluation process are closed within the time frame provided, action which should include identifying the roots causes and there failure -Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Operations / the Travel Industry of which a min. of 5 years at a senior level with a proven track record. -Experienced planning and managing extensive human and materiel resources. -Experienced delivering service in demanding consumer perishable environment -Customer service experience hospitality/airline industry

5 1 Sales Executive Mombasa -Gather and prepare clientele database for planning and identifying clients’ needs -Prepare visit work plan for clients for optimum utilization of time and resources -Visit, service and build relations with Government organs & Parastatals, Corporate & Frequent fliers, and Travel Agents & Tour Operators to maintain loyalty and optimise revenue -Achieve sales targets in line with budget for profitability of the airline -Prepare, close sales contracts/incentives and deals to key accounts to generate maximum revenue -Promote WB products and services to create awareness and generate sales and revenue -Gather market intelligence to identify threats and opportunities so as to maintain a competitive edge and generate sales -Prepare sales report for management information and performance evaluation and monitoring -University graduate in sales and marketing or related field -Recognized IATA certificate or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline sales reservation and ticketing -4 years airline or travel agency experience in sales, marketing or revenue management -He/she must be computer literate.
6 2 Sales and Ticketing Agents -Do reservations and ticketing for all WB clients to generate sales. -Fare quotes to all WB clients to provide the best applicable fares and generate sales -Recruit and handle existing and prospective frequent fliers to win and retain loyalty -Printing and reconciling of sales returns to accounts for daily sales -Promote WB products and services to create awareness and generate sales and revenue -Promote direct telephone sales so as to reduce distribution costs and generate sales -High School education -Recognized IATA certificate or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline sales reservation and ticketing -2 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role -He/she must be computer literate.

Job Qualification/ Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Holder of CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualification with at least three (3) years post qualification experience in operational and IS audits in a professional auditing firm or a reputable company.
- Holders of CISA certification will have added advantage.
- Tanzanian applicants must be registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) - Tanzania.
- Must have very good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- University graduate or Advanced Diploma in Accounting or related fields.
- To verify that the systems and applications owned by the Airline are appropriate, efficient and adequately controlled to ensure valid, reliable, timely and secure input processing.
- To participate in the acquisition, implementation and sign-off of IT projects to ensure resource optimization and the integrity of processes.
- To plan, monitor, implement and control operational audits to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations, adequacy and effectiveness of risk management processes.
- To ensure implementation of control self assessment (CSA) to equip the management with knowledge to assess business risks effectively.
- To review audit working papers to ensure conformity with standards for the professional practice of internal auditing and meet audit and company objectives.
- To develop, train and manage assigned staff.
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor from time to time.
