Position: Warehouse Control Officer

Unit: Logistics

Duty Station: Nairobi

Purpose of the Position:

• To ensure proper reception, dispatch and warehousing of medical and non-medical items

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• To manage the warehousing of medical and non-medical items and make sure the warehouse is in proper function with reception, packing, labeling, and dispatch area.
• Receive goods from suppliers, checking conformity of delivered goods against the delivery note.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly, safely and cleanly.
• To assist off/loading trucks/transporting goods within warehouse.
• To clean the warehouse on a regular basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Well organized and able to prioritize workload
• Highly accurate work, strong computer skills
• Good command of English, valid Driver’s License
