Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Procurement Officer will have the following duties and responsibilities;
- Preparation of procurement plans.
- Timely procurement of goods and services in liaison with the user Department.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government policies on procurement, supplies management and disposal.
- Ensure security and safe custody of stores.
- Issuing and rationing of stores where demand exceeds supply.
- Processing orders, and follow up of outstanding deliveries.
- Recommending disposal of unserviceable stores.
- Preparation and submission of monthly procurement reports.
- Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Managing Director or any other duly authorized officer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce (Supplies Management option) or relevant field. A Masters degree in a related discipline will he an added advantage.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Supplies Management or its acceptable equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience as a Procurement/ Supplies Officer or a comparable position in a busy organization.
- Computer literacy.
Salary Scale attached to this post is HCDA Job Group 4.
Kshs.83,738,40 * 3,826.80 - 87,565.20* 4,018.80 - 91,584.00 * 4,219.20 - 95,803.20* 4429.20-100,232,40* 4,652.40- 104,884.80* 4,884.00- 109,768.80 pm.
House Allowance of Kshs 40, 000 will also be payable.
