Merlin Jobs: Employment Opportunity HR & Admin Coordinator - Kenya / Somalia operations

MERLIN is currently seeking to recruit a qualified HR & Admin Coordinator

Overall Objectives (scope):
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for all international and national staff for Kenya/Somalia operations.
  • Coordinate all the administrative tasks
  • Provide specific advice and guidance to managers on employment relations issues
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice in Kenya and Somalia.
  • Ensure HR information systems, processes and filing procedures are maintained and developed
Person Specification:
  • At least a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Public Administration or Social Sciences.
  • Five (5) years experience in managing HR and administration functions.
  • Very well developed communication and problem solving skills, team player.
  • Knowledge and understanding of national and International Labour laws.
  • Experience of working with humanitarian assistance organizations.
  • Fluency in Swahili and English is a must.
